Ulyanovsk is a city located on the east side of the Ulyanovsk Oblast near the River Volga in Russia. The city was founded in 1648 as the born place of Vladimir Lenin and Alexander Kerensky and called as Simbirsk. The city was granted city status in 1796.Total population of the city until 2018 including Russians, Tatars, Chuvash, Mordvins and Germans are 626,540.
