Sukhinichi is a town located on the middle east of Kaluga Oblast in Sukhinichsky District besides the large railway line of Moscow- Kiev near the River Bryn in Russia. The town was founded in mid of 16th century and was granted town rights in 1840. The town was occupied from 7 October 1941 to 29 January 1942 by the German Army.
