Skovorodino is a town located on the westside of the Amur Oblast in Skovorodinsky District in Russia near the upper stream of River Bolshoy Never. The town was first mentioned as the establishment of Zmeiny at the time of the Trans-Siberian railway constructed in 1908. The town was granted township status in 1927. The mayor of the town is Tatyana Konyushikhina. The major economy of the town is based upon the oil pipeline constructed in north of Lake Baikal from Tayshet.
