Sasovo is a town located on the east side of Ryazan Oblast near River Tsna in Russia. Sasovo was first mentioned in 1642 and got the town status in 1926. The town was owned by the ruler Seberian khan Kuchum who also ruled Kasim Khanate at that time. The total area in which Sasovo is situated is 23.79 km2.
