About Volchansk
Volchansk is a town located on the northwest side of Sverdlovsk Oblast near the River Volchanka on the right bank of the Sosva in the Town of Karpinsk. The town is separated into two parts-In north Lesnaya Volchanka and in south Volchanka. The town was given all the official rights of a town in 1956. The economy of the town is based upon many enterprises like asphalt plant, brickyard, extraction of brown coal, factory of consumer goods and dressing mill.
