About Ussuriysk
Ussuriysk is a town located on the west corner of the Primorsky Krai near the valley of River Razdolnaya in Russia. The town was first known as the establishment of Nikolskoye called after Saint Nicholas in 1866. The town was granted township status in 1898. The town economy is based upon several enterprises including light industry, food industry, metal industry and construction industry. There is a very old Ussuriysk Drama Theater founded in 1937 of the Eastern Military District in this town. The town is twinned with two other cities Mudanjiang-China and Changwon-South Korea.
