Sosensky is a town located on the southern east side of Kaluga Oblast in Kozelsky District in Russia. The town was founded as the Coal-Mining Establishment of Tsentralny Kozelskogo stroyupravleniya in April 1952. The township was granted to Sosensky in 1991. The town was renamed in January 27, 1954 as Leninsky.
